Booster Set

The Sarena Domestic House Booster

Modern water systems require good pressure – typically at least 2.0 bar and preferably 3.0 bar for best performance.

Meanwhile, water companies are reducing guaranteed mains pressure to as little as 0.7 to 1.0 bar to meet Government requirements to reduce mains leakage.

These two factors mean that the need for boosted supply is no longer restricted to high-rise buildings and nowadays is often essential even for houses.

The Sarena House Booster is designed to meet this need, to ensure customer satisfaction and help avoid potential claims as a result of inadequate water supply.

High manufacturing quality, plus a comprehensive warranty, make Sarena House Boosters the best solution for reliable and high performance water supplies. Each unit is capable of delivering 4.0 bar pressure and typically can supply a three storey house with up to three bathrooms.

The compact unit is designed to be located anywhere within the property, including a garage. The Sarena House Booster comes with its own water storage tank, expansion vessel, low-water level pump protection device and pressure switch. All that is required on-site are a fused spur electrical supply and water connections.

Pump sets and tanks are factory pre-plumbed and electrically wired for easy site installation. Our automatic pump set with manufacturer’s warranty, high quality water storage tank and ancillary equipment are all designed to ensure compliance with Water Regulations.

Sarena House Boosters can also be fitted with a fixed speed pump for commercial installations and can be adapted to achieve "AA" and "AB" air gaps when a site is identified as being a category 4 or 5 risk, as defined in Water Regulations.

Type "IC" Booster Sets

Booster Set

The IC range sets are packaged units comprising tank, inlet valve, and pump set, with interconnecting pipework. We offer three standard sizes, however we are pleased to discuss alternative tank capacities and pump types to meet specific requirements. These booster sets are designed to achieve the requirements laid down in Water Regulations for category 4 and 5 risks.

A typical installation would be for applications such as laboratory sinks, dentists' and doctors' surgeries or for industrial situations that have been identified by the local Water Undertaker as offering a considerable risk to the mains supply.
