Sarena go for Training and Development Award

30 companies and 12 awards - a night of high expectations and a heady atmosphere.
The County Showground at Detling hosted 2007's Kent Business Awards ceremony and dinner on the evening of June 21st when the results were revealed to an audience of over 500.
This annual event seeks to acknowledge and celebrate best practice in Kent and is open to organisations from a diverse range of backgrounds. Large or small, manufacturing or service, there are no barriers to entry.
First-footers Sarena Mfg. Limited targetted the "Excellence in Training and Development Award", which is sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council.
Fibreglass moulding company Sarena was visited by the panel during the Spring and was pleased to demonstrate its commitment to this cornerstone.phpect of the business.
Having been advised that it had reached the list of finalists it was a nail biting wait for the award night. In the event the golden "gong" was not to be, however Sarena is proud to have achieved the runners up slot on the company's first such attempt in its 50 year history, a testament to the work put in by the staff and management.

Sarena has been involved with GRP manufacturing processes since 1958 and it is the oldest privately owned company in its field.
As well as an extensive range of standard products for the building services industry the company is keen to discuss custom design mouldings and contract manufacturing.
